What is the Cost of Counselling?

Private Client Rates

One of our values at Evergreen Counselling Group is to make counselling affordable for everyone. As Registered Clinical Counsellors, with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors, Evergreen therapists are required to charge between $135-150/session for individual clients and $150-175/session for couple and family therapy. The exact number depends on the counsellor you are seeing, but all of our pricing will be within this range. Insurance Rates

If you have a personal health insurance plan, or if you are a part of one through your work, there is a good chance that your counselling fee may be partially or completely covered. As Registered Clinical Counsellors, Evergreen therapists qualify for many insurance company programs, including ICBC, Crime Victim's Assistance Program, Greenshield Insurance, and other insurance programs. If you are a student at UBC-O or Okanagan College, your student insurance will cover the cost of your counselling sessions.

Intern Counselling Rates

Evergreen Counselling Group is proud to be able to offer the services of Master of Arts students in the final stages of their counselling degree. These Intern Counsellors practice under the close supervision of one of our experienced Registered Clinical Counsellors, to ensure that you get the best care possible.

For those who do not have insurance and find the cost of counselling prohibitive, this is an incredible opportunity to get the help you need. Sessions with our Intern Counsellors start at $40/hr, and sliding scales are offered as well.
